Fabian Schneider awarded with VDE Bayern Award 2025

Topic of his thesis: Quantum computers
Quantum computers can solve extremely complex computational problems—but to do so, they require novel architectures that combine stability, coherence, and scalability. In his award-winning master's thesis at the Technical University of Munich, Fabian Schneider addresses the key challenges involved in scaling superconducting quantum processors. In doing so, he is making an important contribution to the development of powerful quantum processors for applications in chemistry, logistics, cryptography, and other fields.
