Presentation by Fabian Schneider at the Radio Wireless Week
As part of Radio & Wireless Week (RWW) in Los Angeles, Fabian Schneider presented a scientific paper that was developed as part of the UIC4UHFMRI research project and was accepted and published after a successful review process.
The presentation introduced a newly developed power amplifier that was designed, implemented, and experimentally validated in the UIC4UHFMRI project for use in MRIs. Particular attention was paid to the new theoretical and practical findings in the field of Class F power amplifiers that were achieved with this work.
The published paper expands on existing Class F amplifier theory with new approaches to harmonic matching and efficiency improvement and shows how these concepts can be successfully implemented in a real circuit.
The presentation at an internationally renowned conference such as Radio & Wireless Week made the scientific relevance of the results accessible to a broad specialist audience from research and industry. The publication thus represents an important milestone in the UIC4UHFMRI project and makes a lasting contribution to the further development of energy-efficient high-frequency power amplifiers.
